Reno St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Posted on February 9th, 2010If you’re looking for a place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without completely emptying your wallet, look no further than the Club Cal Neva in downtown Reno.
The Club Cal Neva will host its inaugural St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
St. Patrick’s Day party goers will pay just $10.00 and receive a coupon book good for a specialty drink at each of five bars throughout the casino. Drinks include a shot of Irish whiskey and a domestic beer, Killian’s Red, an Irish Car Bomb, Harp Lager, and the Club Cal Neva’s “surprise” drink, an Irish Thunder Cocktail.
Partiers will also be able to participate in a contest for best St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl costume. Prizes are $100 each for the winner in the following categories: Most Traditional, Most Outrageous, and Sexiest. Sign-ups run from 8:00 p.m. until 9:45 p.m. at the Cabaret Bar where the Club Cal Neva hosts nightly Karaoke.

The Club Cal Neva and the Knitting Factory have come to terms on a deal that will allow Club Cal Neva to be a participating ticket outlet for concerts at the Knitting Factory.
The Club Cal Neva will sell tickets for all Knitting Factory concerts at face value where tickets are currently on sale through the Knitting Factory’s box office or on TicketFly.com. Concert goers may purchase tickets at the main cashier’s cage inside the Center Street side of the casino. Purchases may be made by cash or credit card. All credit card purchases will incur a $1.00 transaction fee. Sales for individual concerts will end at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the individual event and tickets can be purchased at the Knitting Factory box office one hour prior to doors opening.
“We’re extremely excited about the Knitting Factory’s presence in downtown Reno,” said Phil Kenny, director of casino operations and events for the Club Cal Neva. “We think that the success of this venue is critical to downtown revitalization and want to do everything possible to help in any way that we can.”

In-Game Wagering during the Superbowl

Best Parlay Card Odds on the Planet!
The Club Cal Neva, the State’s largest sports book operator, announced today that it will offer in-game wagering during Sunday’s Superbowl game. This is an new opportunity allowing patrons to wager on the game and total throughout the game and also parlay their game wager with the total wager.
“This type of betting action will allow customers to wager throughout the game. Wagers will be accepted during game breaks including timeouts, commercial breaks, during the quarters and halftime. Once the action starts, the wagering will be locked until the next break in action,” said Jeff Siri, President of the Club Cal Neva.
Club Cal Neva will accept in- game wagers at all 30 of its sports book locations throughout Nevada.

We had a great time singing our favorite songs karaoke style with all our friends for the last few hours of the year. Our friends at GonnaHappen.com surprised the crowd with a performance of songs and dance from the musical West Side Story out in the middle of Virginia Street.
